Sequin, Sequins, SEQUINS!

It's Bling

A multi-coloured dreamworld. A recent purchase from an online vintage shop. I was very pleased after I had found this piece. I had been hunting for a sequenced blazer for a while  and the ones I had stumbled across in the past were very boring, 'safe' or just ugly. This one was loud, made out of silk, hand-made, had shoulder pads and one of a kind. I love how it fastens on the neck line and makes it look like a kind off Indian style sherwani jacket.. The extravagant, shiny detailing  gives the impression it should be part of a costume and should be worn in a theatrical act as it is a bit of a statement piece after all. I will team this with  black skinny jeans and top. I know many will find this blazer insanely disgusting but as Marmite says " you either love it, or hate it."

So I purchased another..... quite different this time, has a bit of a 'granny' effect and looks like it should be worn by the older generation. Both  purchased from the same store and I am very happy.

  1. I think both are fantastic and can't wait to see you wear them, I love how much Nottingham as influenced you and how you taken on the vintage vibe but made it your own. I think I prefer the black and white one just because it is more classic. I reckon it would suit those trousers you mentioned and also a long black maxi skirt as well. What would milla say!

Please could you provide the link of the site you bought it off? Promote them!
